About
I'm a cybersecurity and cloud engineer in Aberdeen, Maryland. I started in network engineering at Thales, moved into security operations as a cyber analyst, then spent a year building dedicated-cloud infrastructure at AWS. Today I support OT/ICS remote access and endpoint security for the Defense Logistics Agency. CISSP-certified, with a B.S. in Cybersecurity and an M.S. in Artificial Intelligence underway at CU Boulder.
I build the things I wish I'd had on shift. Detection work taught me how much of an analyst's day goes to gathering context a machine could have gathered, so I write the automation instead. Lately that means putting LLMs on the boring half of an investigation — carefully, because a confident wrong answer is worse than no answer at all.
